My name is Marium (pronounced Mury-um). I'm a visual story teller, content creator, strategizer & User experience designer. I am a student at the University of Waterloo studying Global Business & Digital Arts alongside a minor in psychology. It's a program that combines tech, design and business that I've paired with my natural interest of the brain.

Statement of Design
My program pairing allows me to understand why users make the choices they do. I see design as a space where creativity and structure meet. For me, design is more than aesthetics, it's about telling stories, building strong brand identities, and creating experiences that can’t be ignored. My goal is to keep learning and to use design as a way to connect people and ideas in the constantly evolving digital world.
I love using icons and high-contrast imagery to make my work accessible, bold, and memorable. I’m constantly experimenting with new design trends and tools while staying grounded in the timeless foundations of typography and visual hierarchy. Design is creating experiences that can’t be ignored.
